Stephanie induction into Bouchet Society

Julie Kobyra joins the Bioengineering PhD Program at the University of Pittsburgh."

Stephanie, a PhD candidate in the Chiappinelli Lab, received a F31 Training Grant.

Dr. Chiappinelli chaired the Cancer Epigenetic Mini-symposium at this years Virtual AACR Meeting.

Stephanie was awarded a GW Summer Pre Dissertation Fellowship Award to research a proposed project over the summer that will or could lead to a dissertation topic. 

Noor Diab and Alejandro Velasquez both earned Honors in Biology for thesis work conducted in the Chiappinelli Lab. 

Congratulations to everybody who worked very hard to publish a comprehensive review paper on current methods of epigenetic treatments for ovarian cancer which was recently published on Jan 15, 2019. 

Because our current lab manager/research assistant, has family obligations away from DC, we are looking to hire a replacement! You can apply at either level.

During the summer, a member of the lab, Ann Obi, came from the GW-SPARC Program.

A local troop of the Girl Scouts of the USA spent some of their Saturday afternoon with the Chiappinelli Lab.
